First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You can pick up shifts from 7a-7p or 7p-7a, with options for occasional or fuller schedules and daily/weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Active VA RN license is required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing within the last 4 years.
• AHA BLS certification current.
• AHA ACLS certification current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test completed.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer meds, IV therapies and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

Connaissances

Active Virginia RN license

2 years PCU experience

AHA BLS Current

AHA ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
