First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts are available 7a-7p and 7p-7a. You choose the shifts that fit your life and have the freedom to build a fuller schedule or just pick up an extra shift.

Qualifikationen

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Aufgaben

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.

Kenntnisse

RN licensure

2+ years PCU experience
