First Choice Nurses is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. You can choose shifts that fit your life, from 7a-7p or 7p-7a with flexible scheduling and daily/weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license with at least 2 years of recent PCU experience within past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and status changes.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
