First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts and the option to pick up as few as one shift per month.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license with 2+ years PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
