First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts. Per diem allows you to pick up shifts that fit your life, whether you want a light schedule or a fuller one.

You’ll assess and monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians while maintaining accurate electronic medical records. FCN offers flexible scheduling and payroll options to fit your needs.

Qualifikationen

• Active Virginia RN License
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience in past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS
• Current AHA ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments

Kenntnisse

Active Virginia RN License

2+ years PCU experience

AHA BLS
