First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia.

You decide when to work—7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts—and can build a fuller schedule or just pick up an extra shift. Competitive per diem pay, daily and weekly pay options, and easy mobile scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within past 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.

Skills

Active Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS Current

AHA ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12m

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
