First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts available include 7a-7p and 7p-7a, offering you the freedom to pick up the schedule that fits your life.

Per diem pay is competitive with daily and weekly options, and you can work as little as one shift per month or build a fuller schedule. Join FCN for local, responsive support.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS.
• Current AHA ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility credentials may be required.

Mansioni

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Follow facility infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapt professionally to different hospital units and environments.

Conoscenze

Active Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS Current

AHA ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold
