First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick up an occasional shift or build a fuller schedule, choosing the shifts that fit your life.

Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Current AHA ACLS certification.
- QuantiFERON-TB Gold test.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
- Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
- Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
- Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments.
