First Choice Nurses (FCN) is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. Whether you want to pick up an occasional extra shift or build a fuller schedule, you choose the shifts that fit your life.

As a PCU RN, you will provide high‑quality patient care in acute‑care environments, including monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with care teams.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required
• 2 years of recent PCU experience within past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and status changes
• Administering medications and IV therapies
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
• Following infection-control and safety standards
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments
