As a PCU RN with FCN, you will deliver high-quality care in acute-care settings, assess patients, monitor status, administer treatments, and collaborate with physicians. Per diem roles offer flexibility and diverse facility assignments.
Qualifications
- Virginia RN license with 2+ years of recent PCU experience.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- TB test within the past 12 months.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
- Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
