First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia. You may pick up shifts that fit your life and build a fuller schedule while delivering high-quality patient care.

As a PCU RN, you will assess and monitor patients, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and care teams. FCN offers flexible shifts, daily and weekly pay options, and a locally owned staffing partner with over 15 years of service.

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN license
• Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS
• QuantiFERON-TB test within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Additional credentials may be required based on facility assignment

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments
