Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona is seeking registered nurses for Banner Staffing Services to join Progressive Care units across Tucson and South Campus facilities. You will self-schedule a minimum of 2 shifts per month and may work day or night shifts at either location.

A minimum of 12 months PCU RN experience and BLS/ACLS are required at hire. Per Diem Registry roles offer flexible hours without guaranteed benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• One year of acute care experience (Banner Registry and Travel) within the last 12 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan, implement and document nursing care.
• Coordinate and supervise care with the health care team.
• Provide safe and effective clinical care following physician orders and policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed.
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records.
• Participate in education, mentorship, and quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.
• May supervise staff and manage department workflow.
