Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a PCU Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the patient care unit. The RN will assess needs, administer medications, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support the hospital's mission and patient safety.

Eligibility includes TN RN licensure, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and preferably one year of nursing experience. The role requires strong clinical skills and teamwork in a fast-paced setting encouraging

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Licensure with TN Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
