Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide direct patient care within the RN scope, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vital signs, educate patients and families, and support a therapeutic environment. A BLS/ACLS compliant RN with 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with RN license and accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure with KY Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor and document patient status using electronic systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
