Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the RN practice act. You will assess patient needs, carry out physician orders, administer medications, monitor vitals, and document patient status using EMR systems.

Join a multidisciplinary team, participate in care planning, and educate patients and families. Current TN RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS within 6 months; one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing
• Current Licensure with TN Board of Nursing
• Current BLS
• ACLS within 6 months of hire
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of the Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
