First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with options for 7a-7p or 7p-7a schedules and daily or weekly pay.

Virginia RN License and 2+ years PCU experience required, along with BLS, ACLS, and TB test within the last year. Vaccination or approved exemption is required, with facility-specific credentials possibly requested.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN License required, with 2+ years PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Adhere to infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
