First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts available 7a-7p and 7p-7a; you choose when to work.

Earn competitive per diem pay, daily/weekly pay options, and the freedom to pick up as few as one shift per month. Active Virginia RN license, 2 years PCU experience, BLS/ACLS, and vaccines or exemptions required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience in the past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within the past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional credentials may be required by facility.

Responsabilités

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families about care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
