First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across the Hampton Roads area. Shifts available are 7a-7p and 7p-7a, offering flexible scheduling to fit your life.

Competitive per diem pay and the option to pick up as few as one shift per month, with daily/weekly pay options. You will deliver high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings and collaborate with care teams. Ready to take control of your schedule?

Qualificações

• Active Virginia RN License (minimum)
• PCU nursing experience: 2+ years within the last 4 years
• AHA BLS current
• AHA ACLS current
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Following facility infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans
• Adapting professionally to different hospital units and environments

Conhecimentos

Active Virginia RN License

2 years PCU nursing experience

AHA BLS Current

AHA ACLS Current

QuantiFERON-TB Gold test

COVID-19 vaccination or exemption
