First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts. Shifts run 7a–7p and 7p–7a across Hampton Roads, Virginia, offering the freedom to pick up as few as one shift per month or build a fuller schedule.

As a PCU RN, you will deliver high-quality patient care in acute-care environments, with responsibilities including monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with care teams. Perks include daily/weekly pay options and flexible scheduling.

Qualificações

• Virginia RN License required.
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience in past 4 years.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current AHA ACLS certification.
• Current QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within past 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Responsabilidades

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining accurate electronic medical records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
