First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Hampton Roads, Virginia. Shifts available 7a-7p and 7p-7a; you pick the ones that fit your schedule and earn competitive per diem pay.

You control your calendar with flexible options, daily and weekly pay, and local support. Join a locally owned staffing team delivering high-quality patient care in acute-care hospitals.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• 2 years of PCU nursing in the past 4 years.
• AHA BLS current.
• AHA ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Mansioni

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administering medications, IV therapies, and ordered treatments.
• Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintaining accurate and timely EMR records.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families regarding care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
