Job summary

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and cardiac patients during 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts.

18% night shift differential applies with a $3/hour weekend differential when applicable. 3–12 hour night shifts are offered with self-scheduling and potential adjustments based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice and BLS certification.
• Experience in the clinical area for which applying is desired.
• Relates experience, training and education needed to perform the job.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological and social domains.
• Develop and revise plans of care with patient and family input.
• Implement care according to physician orders and nursing plan.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plan as needed.
• Document assessments, plans and patient response in records.
• Provide care and supervision of other staff as required.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practices.
• Assist in education and orientation of staff and students.
• Communicate effectively with care team and family.
