Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT), CNA, or MA to support direct patient care in the 1 East Psych unit. The role operates on a day shift from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with full-time status and every-other weekend/holiday requirements.

Under RN direction, you will assist patients with ADLs, collect specimens, and help ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients aged 18 and up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience or completion of PCT/CENA/MA/EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completedBSN fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, grooming, positioning, turning, transferring and feeding.
• Collect and send specimens (blood/blood cultures) and manage peripheral IV catheter care.
• Maintain documentation and patient information in appropriate systems.
