Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the 6 North PCU. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct patient care and support patients with ADLs in a private 12-bed unit with cardiac monitoring capabilities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and relevant care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT training, with benefits starting on day one and opportunities for growth within Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, and ambulation.
• Record patient information and required data for documentation.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a safe, clean patient care environment.

Education

High school diploma or GED

1 year direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course

Nursing fundamentals course completed by BSN student nurses
