Trinity Health MI is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) within the 4 North Geriatric/Cardiac PCU in Ann Arbor. The PCT provides direct patient care under a registered nurse, supporting age-appropriate and culturally considerate care while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Shifts include 6:30 am–3:00 pm, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, and 10:30 pm–7:00 am. Full-time and part-time options apply, with every-other weekend/holiday required for some roles.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection.
• Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts and removes peripheral IV catheters. They are responsible to record patient information and required data in appropriate areas in order to meet documentation requirements.
• Adult medicine patients admitted from both Trinity Health and U of M Emergency Departments.
