Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for 1 East Psych on a full-time or part-time basis at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. The role involves direct patient care for adults, assisting with ADLs, specimen collection, and IV line care under RN supervision.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT coursework, and willingness to work every other weekend/holiday.
The PCT, under the direction of a registered nurse, is responsible for direct patient care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs. They assist in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to patient/family wellbeing including concepts of relationship-based care.
