Job summary

Trinity Health Michigan is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for 1 East Psych on a full-time or part-time basis at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. The role involves direct patient care for adults, assisting with ADLs, specimen collection, and IV line care under RN supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT coursework, and willingness to work every other weekend/holiday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of direct care experience or successful completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures; insert/remove peripheral IVs and document data.
• Record patient information in required systems to meet documentation requirements.
