UMass Memorial Health Nashoba Valley is hiring a Patient Care Technician III for a 32-hour day-shift role in Groton, MA. The PCT III supports the care team with patient observation, vital signs, EKGs, and specimen handling in a dynamic emergency/step-down environment.

Under licensed clinician direction, you will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient safety, and help maintain a respectful, high-quality care setting.

Competenze

• Minimum of a high school education or GED required.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with hospital information systems.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Mansioni

• Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding patient observations.
• Maintains patient safety through monitoring and adherence to policies.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient mobility while using proper body mechanics.
• Performs EKGs, POC tests, and prepares specimens for lab transport.
• Observes patients, records vital signs, and supports the care team as needed.
• Replenishes supplies and supports unit operations under supervision.
