Texas Health Resources is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the GI GU Surgery unit at Texas Health Fort Worth. The role supports patient care, collects data, and collaborates with nurses to adapt care to diverse patient needs.

You will work nights, 36 hours per week, and participate in safety goals and process improvement. Qualifications include high school diploma, BCLS, CPI, and PCT or EMT/ nursing student options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CLIA compliance related to foreign education equivalency required.
• PCT training program or THR approved program required on hire.
• EMT/BLS experience or nursing student with fundamentals considered on hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience allowed in lieu of active certification.
• BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
• CPI training maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the care plan.
• Collects and reports patient data; supports admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Performs procedures safely and documents care.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and meets patient needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement and safety initiatives.
