Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Surgical PCU at Texas Health Fort Worth. You will assist nurses, provide basic patient care, and maintain a safe, clean environment in a fast-paced setting.

Required qualifications include HS Diploma, PCT training or THR-approved program, BCLS and CPI, with EMT or foreign nursing credentials considered. Full-time daytime schedule, 36 hours/week, weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• CLIAFE compliance for foreign education equivalency as applicable.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, or THR approved program; not required to maintain certification after hire.
• EMT - Emergency Medical Technician or military medical training equivalent (EMT-B) upon hire.
• Nursing student who has completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program upon hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of an active certification upon hire.
• BCLS must be maintained prior to providing independent patient care with quarterly renewal.
• CPI must be maintained annually (90 days).
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
