Texas Health Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for GI GU Surgery to join our team at 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX. This full-time night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) requires 36 hours per week with weekend and holiday commitments.

The role supports the nursing team and delivers high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with CLIA/EMT/Nursing student pathways considered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CLIA regulations compliance required.
• PCT training or approved THR program is required upon hire.
• EMT or nursing student with relevant fundamentals may be considered upon hire.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required prior to patient care and maintained.
• CPI training maintained annually.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care based on plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collect and report patient data; support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Perform technical procedures safely and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and proactively meet patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
