Endeavor Health seeks a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Telemetry/Med Surg in Naperville, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) covers night shifts: 6:30 pm–7:00 am with rotating holidays and weekends, performing patient care tasks under RN supervision to ensure safety and comfort.

Requires CPR certification and nursing assistant training or related patient care experience. Benefits include premium pay, incentive pay, annual raises, education support, and a comprehensive health plan.

• Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of the care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, and ability to receive and follow directions.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Telemetry 3/Med Surg

• Location: Edward Hospital ; Naperville, IL

• Full Time: 36 hour work week

• Hours: Night Shift: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am Rotating Holidays/Weekends

What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need:

• Education: N/A

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross

• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation

• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.

• Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
