Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Telemetry 3/Med Surg at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time, 36-hour weekly night-shift role offers comprehensive on-site care with rotating holidays and weekends.

CPR certification and nursing assistant training or equivalent experience are required. Under RN supervision, you will assist with patient care, safety, and comfort; participate in care plans, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on quality

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience
• CPR certification by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Hourly Pay Range:

$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Telemetry 3/Med Surg

• Location: Edward Hospital ; Naperville, IL

• Full Time: 36 hour work week

• Hours: Night Shift: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am Rotating Holidays/Weekends

What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need:

• Education: N/A

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross

• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training courseorminimum six monthsof previous patient care experienceorequivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation

• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.

• Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
