Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Cardiac Telemetry 7/Neuro Step Down for a full-time 36-hour week. Day shift runs 6:30 am to 7:00 pm with rotating holidays and weekends.

You will assist with patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, providing comfort, safety and well-being. CPR certification is required; experience or training in nursing assistance is needed; care companion course may be required within six months.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum 6 months of patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Edward Hospital ; Naperville, IL
• Full Time: 36 hour work week
• Hours: Day Shift: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm Rotating Holidays/Weekends

What you will do:

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need:

• Education: N/A
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross
• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
