Job summary

The position requires crisis intervention skills, CPR/TOVA readiness, and strong documentation abilities to support clinical staff and families.

Qualifications

• Considerable knowledge of center policies, procedures, standards of conduct, and agency regulations related to supervision of direct care staff.
• Knowledge of child/adolescent development and needs of individuals with disabilities.
• Ability to mentor staff in planning activities, collecting behavioral data, writing reports, and evaluating treatment plans.
• Ability to interact with children/adolescents with various disabilities and assist with daily living activities.
• Willingness to lead and intervene verbally and physically in crisis situations; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentoring to direct care staff in therapeutic relationships and care aligned with treatment plans.
• Deliver direct care to psychiatric minor patients and model positive work habits.
• Report to emergencies as required and uphold patient rights and dignity at all times.
