Children’s Crisis Treatment Center in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to support the health care needs of children presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues in a trauma-informed manner.
The Nurse collaborates with psychiatrists and clinicians, conducts nursing assessments, dispenses medications, maintains records, and coordinates with pharmacies. Weekly team and inter-agency meetings are part of the role, with CPR and First Aid certification required.

Summary of Essential Functions:
Licensed Practical Nurse licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
License to dispense prescribed controlled and legend drugs and other controlled substances required.
Must have knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of Nursing care
Minimum of one year’s experience in child or adolescent addictions or mental health nursing, or in or community health care setting.
At least one year’s experience with trauma-informed care in child behavioral health settings.
CPR and First Aid certification required
Bilingual preferred
Technical/Computer Skills:
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Proficient in handling office equipment (faxes, copiers, scanners)
Working knowledge of ECR systems
