Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. in Georgia is seeking aPatient Care Technician to assist nursing staff, support patient comfort, safety and personal needs, and work within a unit-based, self-directed care team.

The role requires completing ADL assistance and hygiene tasks, with duties shared among licensed and non-licensed team members; shift is Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry.
• OR Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
• OR Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
• OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience.
