Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is hiring a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Telemetry and Neuro Step Down units. This full‑time role covers a 36‑hour week with night shifts from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, including rotating holidays and weekends.

You will perform patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse, requiring CPR certification and a nursing assistant training background or equivalent experience. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required by recognized American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of patient care experience or equivalent.
• Completion of one nursing clinical rotation may be required by department.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

The Patient Care Tech, under the directions of a Registered Nurse (RN) and, according to established procedures, performs patient care tasks and patient care procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.

What you will need

• Education: N/A
• Certification: Current CPR Certification issues by either American Heart Associates or American Red Cross
• Experience: Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Successful completion and care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.

Unique or Preferred Skills

Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
