Job summary

Petersen is seeking a PCMM Inspector to join our quality team in Ogden, UT. You will perform precision inspections using PCMM systems, including Laser Tracker and articulated arms, to verify parts against drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities include analyzing results, proposing corrections, and supporting calibration activities while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. Prior GD&T and CMM experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading mechanical, structural, tooling and aerospace drawings.
• Thorough understanding of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word-processing.
• Knowledge of coordinate systems and laser/optics.
• Experience with PCMM, Verisurf, and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCMM/Laser Tracker inspection under supervision.
• Measure parts in shop and field locations with PCMM system.
• Analyze results and propose corrective actions for unacceptable conditions.
• Assist in adjustments to parts/tooling/machinery as required.
• Provide calibration services using PCMMs.
• Maintain safe work environment.
