Job summary

The Armor Group is seeking a detail-oriented CMM Inspector to operate coordinate measuring machines and inspect precision-machined components. You will load and position parts, run inspection programs, read engineering drawings and GD&T, and document results.

Responsibilities include measuring features, identifying issues, assisting with first piece and in-process inspections, maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous CMM or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Experience with CMM software PC-DMIS or Zeiss Calypso preferred.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gauges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to inspect components.
• Load and position parts for inspection and run programs.
• Read drawings and GD&T; document results.
• Identify and report dimensional issues; maintain records.
• Maintain CMM equipment and fixtures; follow safety rules.
• Assist with first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
