Job summary

Advanced PMC in Owasso, OK, is seeking a hands‑on Quality Assurance Specialist / Inspection Lab Operator to inspect precision‑machined components and ensure compliance with customer and blueprint requirements. The role emphasizes GD&T, dimensional inspection on shop floor and in the inspection lab, and maintaining traceable quality records.

Responsibilities include first‑piece through final inspections, use of precision tools and CMMs, and clear communication of findings to Quality, Engineering,

Qualifications

• GDT understanding and reading complex drawings accurately.
• Ability to interpret tolerances, datums, and feature‑control frames.
• Experience inspecting machined parts with precision measuring tools.
• Strong documentation and traceability of inspection results.
• Professional communication of quality concerns to teams.
• Capability to work independently while supporting production.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Apply GD&T during inspection and verify conformance to requirements.
• Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections of components.
• Inspect size, position, profile, runout, flatness, perpendicularity, and concentricity.
• Operate calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, indicators, and surface plates.
• Assist with or perform CMM inspections depending on experience.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceable records.
• Identify and document nonconforming material and communicate findings
• Verify part identification and customer requirements before shipment.
• Follow AS9100/ISO 9001 procedures and maintain organized lab/inspection area.
