Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Newark, CA, seeks an experienced Test Engineering Manager to lead its Test Engineering team in an electronics manufacturing environment. You will oversee PCBA test strategies, development, and integration across multiple programs to ensure robust test coverage and high product quality.

The role requires strong leadership in PCBA testing, experience with Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe, and a track record of improving test efficiency and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of test engineering experience in EMS/PCBA environments.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience with PCBA Functional Testing, ICT, and Flying Probe Testing.
• Strong understanding of PCBA design and manufacturing test methods.
• Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, and defect reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Test Engineers with priorities and timelines.
• Define test strategies, standards, and best practices across programs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of PCBA test solutions (Functional Test, ICT, Flying Probe).
• Partner with NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Engineering to ensure production readiness.
• Drive root-cause analysis and actions to improve test reliability and yields.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and align test requirements with specs.
