Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and optimize PCBA manufacturing operations. The role focuses on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and efficiency in a fast-paced contract environment.

You will lead production area managers, leads and operators, drive Lean initiatives, coordinate with planning and procurement, and ensure IPC and ISO standards compliance while fostering ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electronics manufacturing and PCBA processes.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving improvements.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and ISO certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day PCBA production operations (SMT, through-hole, final assembly).
• Lead and develop production managers, leads and operators.
• Own KPIs across SQDC and drive actions to achieve goals.
• Coordinate planning and procurement to meet delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality to ensure IPC/ISO compliance.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve quality.
