Job summary

We are seeking a dependable Electronics Soldering Operator to join our team in Stratford, CT. This hands-on role involves soldering components onto PCBs and performing related assembly and inspection tasks, with exposure to TH and SMT soldering as skills grow.

Qualified candidates will have soldering experience, basic TH knowledge, and a willingness to learn new electronics assembly techniques. The position offers a steady M-F schedule and hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience soldering electronic components onto PCBs preferred.
• Basic knowledge of through-hole component assembly desirable.
• SMT soldering experience a plus.
• Ability to use soldering irons and desoldering equipment.
• Comfort working with microscopes, magnification devices, and visual inspection tools.
• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and/or J‑STD‑001 workmanship standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and develop electronics assembly skills.

Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to assembly instructions and quality requirements.
• Perform through‑hole component soldering and, when qualified, surface‑mount technology (SMT) soldering.
• Operate soldering irons, desoldering tools, and other electronic assembly equipment.
• Inspect solder joints and assembled circuit boards using magnification and inspection tools.
• Identify soldering defects and assist with corrections and rework as needed.
• Follow established work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet production quality and productivity expectations.
