• Use precision hand tools and equipment to trim, clinch, and secure component leads.
• Apply protective materials such as heat-shrink, sealants, or masking compounds during the soldering process.
• Conduct visual inspections and rework to meet IPC quality standards.

Electronics Assembler - PCBA (Hand Soldering)

📍 Location: Danbury, CT | 🕒 Full-Time | On-Site (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)

About the Role

What You'll Do

As an Electronics Assembler, you will work directly on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA), ensuring the highest quality standards for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading work instructions, wiring diagrams, and samples to determine assembly steps.

• Installing components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, connectors, and integrated circuits.

• Performing hand soldering on through‑hole and surface‑mount components per IPC standards.

• Using precision hand tools and equipment to trim, clinch, and secure component leads.

• Applying protective materials such as heat‑shrink, sealants, or masking compounds during the soldering process.

• Conducting visual inspections and rework to meet IPC quality standards.

What We're Looking For

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands‑on experience in electronics assembly and hand soldering of PCB assemblies.

• Ability to carefully follow routing sheets, work instructions, and wiring diagrams.

• Team‑oriented and dependable, with strong attention to detail.

🌟 Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 or J‑STD‑001 standards (certification a plus).

• Prior experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100 electronics manufacturing environment.

• Experience with SMT rework and inspection under a microscope.
