Job summary

Circuit Check, Inc. in Maple Grove, MN, is seeking a PCB/A Soldering Specialist to join our manufacturing team.

You will perform both manual and automated soldering on PCBs, following detailed work instructions and blueprints to deliver high-quality assemblies. You will inspect solder joints, troubleshoot defects with engineering and quality teams, and maintain soldering equipment, ensuring safety and traceability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven PCB soldering experience (through-hole and SMT).
• Familiar with soldering tools: irons, reflow ovens, microscopes.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated soldering of electronic components on PCBs following detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance using visual inspection and magnification tools, identifying and correcting defects.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot soldering issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and calibrate soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Document all soldering activities, including process parameters and quality checks, to support traceability and continuous improvement.
