Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Technician to support design engineers by building and testing electronic boards and prototypes in a NH-based lab. You will collect test data, document results, and perform component-level troubleshooting, focusing on PCB/PCBA assembly and rework down to 0402 packages.

This onsite role requires hands-on bench work and adherence to documentation standards. The position is contract-based in Derry, NH with a $32.00–$40.00 hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Hands-on PCB/PCBA assembly and rework experience.
• Ability to solder 0402 and small components with precision.
• Ability to read schematics and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble electronic boards and prototypes.
• Construct test equipment from drawings and BOMs.
• Perform PCB/PCBA assembly and rework including 0402.
• Repair damaged prototype PCBs and restore functionality.
• Follow written test procedures with minimal supervision.
• Use lab equipment to execute tests and collect data.
• Document test results and changes clearly.
• Generate reports with findings and recommendations.
• Order parts for prototyping and lab operations.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and readiness.
• Attend daily morning meetings and provide progress updates.
• Support sustaining projects including second sourcing testing.
