Job summary

Benchmark Electronics Inc is seeking a Test Technician to support testing and debugging of PCB and PCBA assemblies. The role involves working with schematics, maintaining testers, and training operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position is safety-sensitive with a 24.26 to 30.40 USD per hour compensation range and a comprehensive benefits package including health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year engineering or technical degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience required in a related role.
• Proficiency reading electrical schematics; basic understanding of test measurement and debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Debug and test PCB/PCBA assemblies to component level using schematics.
• Maintain testers and perform upkeep to ensure operation.
• Train and support test operators; communicate issues to Test Engineer/leader.
• Support continuous improvement activities (Lean, Six Sigma).
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve failures and improve processes.
