Job summary

Geophysical Survey Systems Inc. in Nashua, NH is seeking an Electronic Technician to perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, interpret schematics, and validate firmware and software against test fixtures.

You will work closely with the Production Manager and Quality Manager to improve products and procedures, while maintaining rigorous documentation and data records. This full-time role requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, follow approved test

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Communicate in a positive and friendly manner and be able to articulate precise written and verbal details.
• Must be a highly motivated team player with an ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies with peers and other departments.
• Diagnose and isolate malfunctions to the component level and coordinate rework with assembly personnel.
• Communicate with Production Manager, Quality Manager, and Manufacturing Engineers to improve products and processes.
• Load firmware and software, test software-controlled electronics and test fixtures.
• Maintain test equipment and fixtures for final and in-process testing.
• Set up and conduct final tests to determine acceptance status, including occasional outdoor testing.
• Record procedures and data, and propose changes to tests or products.
• Cross-train with other technicians to test all products.
• Validate performance on new designs and ensure end products meet standards.
• Troubleshoot and assist in preparation of test procedures and results.
• Work from schedules, schematics, and manufacturing procedures.
