Job summary

Summit Interconnect in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a full-time hourly Plating/Operator to join its PCB manufacturing team. You will manually submerge panels and operate plating and wet process machines under supervision, ensuring quality and process control.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic English proficiency, and the ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
• Fluent in reading/writing/speaking English.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate plating and wet process machines with standard setups and monitor parameters.
• Check chemical bath levels and adjust as directed.
• Load machines and perform manual operations.
• Maintain equipment and perform limited preventive maintenance.
• Follow industry standards and customer specifications.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and under time constraints.
• Adhere to company systems and procedures.
