Job summary

Sierra Circuits in Sunnyvale, CA is looking for a Plating Operator to join our PCB manufacturing team. This regular full-time role covers copper, acid/tin plating and cleaning steps, electroless copper, nickel, and gold processes, and requires careful PAL logging and process testing.

We seek 2–6 years plating experience, ability to read technical instructions, PPE compliance, and strong safety discipline. High school diploma preferred; wage is $22–$30 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow technical work instructions.
• Maintains quality of products and processes at all times.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process orders through copper, acid/tin plate and cleaning steps.
• Perform electroless copper and nickel, soft/hard gold processes.
• Maintain PAL logs and use the TrueChem system as needed.
• Provide product and process support via inspection and testing.
• Follow all processing instructions and safety guidelines.
• Assist with process flow, quality, timeliness, and testing.
